I nak apply remote jobs overseas, tapi tak sure how to do it effectively. Company luar ni usually tengok apa? Is it skills, or they prefer someone with experience working in international companies? Satu lagi, i perasan banyak job listing letak “must be willing to work in X timezone”. I okay je utk kerja timing pelik2 as long as dpt WFH. Actually I dah 1 year takde kerja sebab byk i dpt semuanya kena masuk office. I taknak..so i nk try apply overseas job pulak. Hopefully u guys can guide me..

For remote jobs overseas, companies often look at a combination of skills and experience. While international company experience is a plus, your skills will always be the biggest factor. Highlight your ability to work independently, manage time well, and adapt to different work cultures, those are key in remote positions. As for time zones, if you're okay with them, just make sure to emphasize your flexibility in your application. Good luck, I’m sure you’ll find something!

Companies are usually more focused on your skills and how well you fit into their team. Don’t stress too much about having international experience, just make sure to highlight any past remote work experience (even if it’s freelance or side projects). Also, with the time zone thing, you’re in a good position if you’re flexible! Definitely mention your availability and willingness to work odd hours in your cover letter. Best of luck!
