Thinking of accepting a remote job offer from an overseas company, but here’s the catch—they’ll only bank in my salary monthly, no EPF or SOCSO contributions, and I’ll have to handle taxes myself. 🤔 The pay is decent, but I’m not sure if it’s worth losing those benefits. Anyone here working in a similar setup? Is it sustainable long-term, or should I play it safe with a local company that offers full contributions?

If the pay is good, it might be worth it. Just ensure you save for things like EPF and emergencies!

Overseas remote work can be exciting, but managing taxes and benefits yourself needs planning. Maybe consult a financial advisor?
