When I was a fresh grad yg tengah cari kerja masa tahun 2022, any offer yang below RM2.5k, sorry.. sis TAK LAYAN. I terus REJECT. ❌ No 2nd chance, no menyesal2. I berpegang teguh that fresh grad KENA WAJIB dapat gaji starting yang bermaruah. After 4x i tolak kerja, FINALLY offer yg ke-5 i dapat RM2.7 + elaun RM300 so total RM3k. So for those yg tengah cari kerja OR nk lompat company, ingat 1 je..never settle for less! Starting gaji tinggi penting utk set your future right ok!!

But i do understand ada yg fresh grad just grab whatever yg been offered at first place sbb fikir bout family. Not everyone ada rezeki yg sama.

Thank you sis!! This is the kata-kata semangat that i need!! I dah fenattt cakap dkt my parents yang i memilih gaji because i taknak lambat dapat gaji idaman i. i aim to get RM5k before 30 years old. Now im 23yrs old, i memang cari kerja dgn gaji min RM2.5k...but my parents ckp tinggi sgt 🙄 Whatever lah, i'll stick to my prinsip!

Betullah tu kalo mmg time fresh grad like never settle for less tp if dah ada komitment and mencari kerja susah nk dpt... keadaan yg memaksa. Ada hal perlu dibayar. Tapi i tak cakaplah apa you mentioned ni salah, for those yg fresh grad seeloknya cari yg berpatutan.

I don’t mind hiring fresh grads with their asking salary. But if they can’t perform, I’ll put them in Performance Improvement Plan (PIP). If they still can’t perform, I’ll be forced to fire them. If the company can give you what you want, you must meet company’s expectations too.

I agreed that fresh graduate (degree holder) especially in engineering, get paid RM 4000 per month (gaji premium) late year. But reminder, ukur juga kekuatan diri dan put yourself what level anda berada. Jangan malu bila dapat gaji as fresher below RM 3000 (at least RM 2600 above) for starter. Never give guys, after got enough experience related, jumping 🦘... ✊🏻

Same goes to me, I graduated with degree in accounting, so at least my starting salary should start at RM 2.5k, cause if you accept the offer below that range, later on you will regret cause you felt like you’re underpaid for the amount of workload & stress you need to face everyday. Remember that company always have the money to hire someone, otherwise they don’t even bother to put on ads of looking for someone for the job. Never disrespect yourself. & note that gaji you takkan naik hari hari.

yes betul.. mintak je gaji yang bagi korang realistik dengan keadaan semasa/qualification dll.. kalau company tu x dapat bagi apa yg korg nak, maksudnya company tu x bagus.. konon freshie xde pengalaman gaji x boleh tinggi, ahh alasan je.. biasanya compny yg ok, dia xkan kisah dgn gaji yg di minta..
