I see so many fresh grads and even seniors chasing every certificate under the sun. But in every meeting I’ve had this year, the person who wins is the one with high EQ and "people skills," not the one with the longest list of letters after their name.
Are we over-valuing technical certs and under-valuing basic human connection? I’d rather work with someone who is reliable and "vibes" well than a genius who is a nightmare to talk to. Thoughts?
