HR Shamed My Online Certification - Is ... Forum Community

Wen to an interview, HR asked me what was my highest qualification. I said certification but then HR look on my certificate which is diploma in caregiving by Allison, she belittled me and ridiculed my qualifications because it was only CPD courses that I could do online. The HR said, if like that I also can ask someone else to answer for me and get the certificate. No need to go class every day and do assignment etc. You don’t need SPM to answer this course even PMR person can answer . Im sad.

I am so sorry you experienced that, it was completely unprofessional and disrespectful of the interviewer. Please do not let their narrow opinion diminish your hard work. You took the initiative to earn a diploma and certifications to improve your skills, and that commitment to professional development is a huge asset. Your value is in the skills and knowledge you gained, not in how they were delivered. Keep your head up. You will find a far better, more respectful workplace.
