Banyak job postings sekarang nak orang yang ada tech skills, even for non-tech roles. I kerja dalam bidang marketing, tapi now banyak company nak marketer yang tahu basic data analytics, automation tools, AI, and even coding. Berbaloi tak spend time belajar benda ni, or should I focus on more industry-specific skills that are less tech-heavy? Tak nak belajar benda yang hanya nampak trending, tapi tak betul-betul relevan dengan kerja yang tengah buat sekarang.

Marketing now memang kena tahu sedikit tech stuff, especially data and automation. I’d say it's worth learning the basics, just to stay competitive. But tak perlu overthink, maybe focus on skills that are directly useful for your job, like how to use data to optimize campaigns or automation tools for efficiency. Jangan belajar sebab trending je, but if it’ll make your work easier, why not?

having some knowledge on data analytics or automation can help you stand out. But at the same time, kalau you feel like it’s not super relevant to your current role, you don’t have to dive deep into it. Maybe just pick up the basics first, and see how you can apply it to your work. No need to go full tech mode unless it really aligns with your goals.

It’s true that a lot of marketing jobs now need tech skills, but honestly, you don’t have to go crazy learning everything. Just pick up some key tools or concepts that can help you in your role, like basic analytics or automation for marketing tasks. Don’t worry about learning things just because it's trending. Focus on what’s actually useful to you right now, and you’ll be fine!
