Saya ada kerja dekat 1 company ice cream ni. Dia tak bagi offer letter, sebelum or selepas sehari or dua hari bekerja pun. Bila I tanya HR dia balik, dia tak reply i almost 1 minggu. Bila tanya manager, dia jawab "after 2 weeks baru company akan bagi offer letter sebab selalunya staff kerja sekejap je lepastu MIA" and I speechless. Lepastu company ni suka kerah tenaga staff foreigners and tak bayar lebih pun. Dorang macam buat kerja free. Hantar sini sana tanpa bayar, staff kerja tanpa off day.

Reason “staff selalu MIA” tu bukan alasan tak bagi offer letter. Employee pun perlukan protection.

Tak bagi offer letter dari awal dah salah. Alasan tunggu 2 minggu pun tak masuk akal. Kalau dah kerja, kena ada contract dan kena bayar betul. Dari cerita u, macam ada unsur kerja tak dibayar dan tak ada off day, itu tak normal. Better cepat cari tempat lain yang lebih proper dan ada agreement yang jelas.
